			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Checking out some fruits on the local grocer, my eyes were suddenly caught by a label on the nearest shelf:  <strong>Alkaline Water</strong>.</p>
<p>&#8221; Another Health Hype..&#8221; I thought.  We could never have enough of those bottled waters in many forms and names.  Water just taste exactly the same, basically.  But how about the benefits?<span id="more-5"></span></p>
<p>Alkaline water may just look like your usual tap or bottled drinking water.  Alkaline water may receive some doubts and laughs, but this water is just what we need to de-stress, rehydrate and detoxify &#8211; the way our bodies should be.  It&#8217;s a humble anti-oxidant fighting those nasty free radicals that brings damage to the healthy cells of the body.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been on a week with Alkaline water and I couldn&#8217;t resist that it taste &#8220;greater&#8221; than the regular tap.  I think that the taste can be compared to a fresh mountain stream water on spring time.  It just makes you feel more revived after a day&#8217;s work or a strenuous workout.  The secret lies with &#8211; Oxygen.  Alkaline water just delivers more oxygen to the cells, plus, it comes with healthy minerals.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s simple to make alkaline water at home, if you have a <a href="http://www.waterionizer.org/?cxc=1910877" target="_blank">water ionizer </a>.  Some people use Bio-Stone filters or magnetic fields. Some add a mineral drop to ordinary water.  Cooking with Alkaline water?  I&#8217;ve noticed that my rice is fluffier than using regular water.  My food just tastes better and my smoothie tastes smoother.</p>
<p>I love the idea of feeling younger with Alkaline water.  Water is the source of life and we could just stop looking elsewhere for that miracle elixir.  Alkaline water just makes the cells younger &#8211; from the inside to the outside.  <em>Who needs costly cosmetics and surgery to look young?</em></p>
